Bre Rekenthaler, Chief Marketing Officer

Bre joined Gideon Strategic Partners in 2019 and, by 2021, advanced to serve as Chief Marketing Officer, Head of I.T., and Chief of Staff. Bre leads enterprise I.T., data governance, and cybersecurity; standardizes employee onboarding to core systems; and partners closely with compliance to manage state and securities licensing operations in alignment with SEC and FINRA requirements. She also oversees media relations and brand presence, directs vendor management, advisor licensing and contracting, and coordinates sponsorships, charitable initiatives, and events while shaping a high-performance, values-driven culture. With deep expertise at the intersection of marketing operations and technology, Bre builds scalable systems that translate strategy into measurable outcomes, specializing in content operations, social media strategy, sales enablement, and performance analytics to drive pipeline velocity and revenue impact.

Before joining Gideon, Bre served as a Business Sales Consultant in the beauty industry and held Marketing Director and Senior Sales Executive roles with Discovery Channel, The Enthusiast Network, Motor Trend Network, Automobile Magazine, L’Oréal Corporate, and Nordstrom Corporate Finance. She also led U.S. sales and marketing for the American division of the Italian brand Gessi S.P.A. 

She earned a B.B.A. with an emphasis in Finance and Financial Management from the University of California, Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business. Committed to giving back, she supports The Celiac Disease Foundation, the American Lyme Disease Foundation, The Avril Lavigne Foundation, Wine To Water, and The Movember Foundation. 

Outside of work, she enjoys great books, fine wine, singing, and musicals, and can often be found on the trails at Runyon Canyon.
